The meter features 1 inch NPT threaded end connections and is designed for low pressure drop and a broad viscosity range. The Series 1000 TIM is an electromechanical volumetric measurement instrument. Flow causes the muliti-blade rotor to spin at an angular velocity directly proportional to the rotor's angular velocity and the cross-sectional area of the meter is fixed, the frequency is directly proportional to flow rate. The sinusoidal signal generated is easily transmitted to a NUFLO MC?-series totalizer or other electronic instrumentation.
NUFLO? turbine flowmeters indicate flow rate and measure total throughput of a liquid line. As liquid flows through the meter and over the rotor, the rotor turns at a speed that is directly proportional to the flow rate. The meter offers all stainless steel precision machined components with CD4MCu and/or 416 stainless steel rotors in line sizes from 3/8" through 10.0". End connection is NPT threaded standard, however other ends like victaulic, flanged, or sanitary are available on special request. Magnetic pickup sold separately.
