It offers an output frequency that has a linear relationship to gas velocity over a wide flow range. HFC-RTU Frequency Converter (Analog Output) The HFC-RTU Frequency Converter is designed to transmit 4-20 mA flow meter information from remote-mounted turbine flow meters to readout devices such as remote transmitting units (RTUs), chart recorders or field computers. TMP-100 Pulse Divider Circuit The TMP-100 provides a pulse output that represents a user-defined unit of volume from a remotely mounted turbine flow meter. The output may be transmitted to RTUs, totalizers or field computers. Low-Power Preamplifier The NuFlo Low-Power Preamplifier prevents problems caused by noisy electrical equipment in the proximity of remote-mounted turbine flow meters. Even in extremely noisy situations, or when shielded cable runs are very long and rendered ineffective, the Low-Power Preamplifier raises the flow meter signal so that it is easily discriminated from electrical noise. They can be used in Plate Holders with North Star, Daniel and Superior Orifice Fittings. Nuflo Paddle Type Orifice Plates are normally used with Orifice Flange Unions. The outer diameters are manufactured from uniform circular discs. Orifice Accessories The use of straightening vanes in meter runs serves a twofold purpose: The turbulence often created in a complex piping system is straightened and smoothed to a normal flow pattern, and the amount of straight pipe required preceding an orifice is reduced.
